July 7, 2026 – 10:04 AM +0 BATON ROUGE, La. – LSU women’s basketball student-athletes Kate Koval and Meghan Yarnevich were named to the 2025-26 First-Year SEC Academic Honor Roll, Tuesday by SEC Commissioner Greg Sankey. The First-Year SEC Academic Honor Roll is based on grades from the 2025-26 academic calendar. A total of 1,755 SEC student-athletes were named to the annual list. Any student-athlete who participates in a Southeastern Conference championship sport or a student-athlete who participates in a sport listed on his/her institution’s NCAA Sports Sponsorship Form is eligible for nomination to the Academic Honor Roll.
