SANTA BARBARA, Calif. — With UC Santa Barbara on summer break, 19 members of the Gaucho Baseball team have spread out across the country to compete in wood-bat summer baseball leagues, ranging as far north as Canada and as far east as Cape Cod in Massachusetts. Two Gauchos are staying right here in the 805 though, with pitchers Calvin Proskey and AJ Krodel suiting up for the Santa Barbara Foresters.
