Son of Men鈥檚 Basketball Alumni Drafted by Grizzlies in First Round of NBA Draft
By: David McFeely, Director of Media Relations Brooklyn, New York 鈥� The Bearcats are excited to celebrate with SBU men's basketball alumni Jes煤s Hiram L贸pez whose son was recently drafted in the 1 st round of the NBA draft. Karim L贸pez, son of Jes煤s, was drafted as the 21 st pick by the Memphis Grizzlies. Karim also makes history by being the first Mexican-born first-round draft pick in NBA history.
