Namken Picks up Baseball America Freshman All-American Accolades
SAN MARCOS, Texas -- After establishing himself as one of the premier young catchers in college baseball, Texas State's Clayton Namken has been selected to the Baseball America Freshman All-America Second Team. Namken's standout freshman season helped propel the Bobcats to a 37-26 record and an appearance in the NCAA Tournament. The New Braunfels, Texas, native quickly became a fixture in the Texas State lineup throughout his first collegiate campaign.
