Miners Set School Record with 48 Council of Presidents’ Academic Honors
By: Ryan Luttrell, Director of Athletic Communications INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. -- The Great Lakes Valley Conference has announced their list of honorees for the Council of Presidents (COP) award, recognizing a record 635 student-athletes for completing their athletic careers with a cumulative GPA of 3.5 or higher. Missouri S&T set a new department record for honorees, adding 48 to the list. Of the 635 student-athletes recognized across the conference, just 33 completed their athletic careers with a perfect 4.0 grade point average.
