Men’s basketball set to begin three-game series with West Virginia in 2026
BLACKSBURG – The Virginia Tech men’s basketball team is set to take on West Virginia for each of the next three seasons, the programs announced Thursday afternoon. The first meeting in 2026 will take place in Morgantown on Saturday, Dec. 5, while the Mountaineers will travel to Blacksburg in 2027 and the programs will meet in Charleston, West Virginia sometime in 2028. Separated by just 250 miles, the two programs have not met since December of 2015.
