Devils acquire Amadeus Lombardi from Red Wings for pick
The New Jersey Devils announced on Thursday that they have acquired center Amadeus Lombardi in a trade with the Detroit Red Wings in exchange for their fourth-round pick in this weekend鈥檚 2026 NHL Draft. Lombardi, who was himself a fourth-round pick in the 2022 NHL Draft by the Red Wings, has excelled with Detroit鈥檚 AHL affiliate Grand Rapids Griffins in each of the past two seasons. The 23-year-old from Newmarket, Ontario racked up 42 points on 16 goals and 26 assists in 47 games this season as the Griffins put together a strong campaign and made the Calder Cup Playoffs....
