Montreal has acquired forward Hunter McKown from Columbus in exchange for winger Luke Tuch; both teams have announced the swap. McKown joined the Blue Jackets as an undrafted college free agent back in 2023 and made the jump to the NHL right away, getting into a dozen games following the signing. He held his own in that action, picking up two assists while winning just over 55% of his faceoffs while averaging 12:14 of ice time per game....
