Track & Field Earns Eight CSC Academic All-District Honors
The Monmouth College track and field teams had eight student-athletes named Division III Academic All-District by College Sports Communicators (formerly CoSIDA) this week. To qualify for CSC Academic All-District, student-athletes must be at least sophomore standing, have a minimum 3.50 cumulative GPA and rank in the top 50 in the Midwest Region in at least one solo event. On the men’s side, senior Blake Orwig (Wyoming, Illinois) is a third-time selection while Gunner Bryant (Curryville, Missouri) is a repeat selection who also made the All-District team for football.
