Smith Named to PhillySIDA Academic All-Area Squad
Full Release PHILADELPHIA- The Philadelphia Sports Information Directors Association (PhillySIDA) released its Baseball Academic All-Area selections on Wednesday morning, and Hunter Smith (Martinsburg, Pa./Central) added a final postseason honor to his 2026 campaign with an Academic All-Area certificate. Smith, a Collegiate Sports Communicators Academic All-District selection as well as a First Team All-PSAC East and consensus (NCBWA, ABCA, D2CCA) Second Team All-Region honoree, enjoyed an outstanding 2026 season as a Golden Ram.
