SARATOGA SPRINGS, N.Y. 鈥� Skidmore College head women’s lacrosse coach Elizabeth Ghilardi has announced the hiring of Sophie Spencer as the program’s new assistant coach. Spencer joins the Thoroughbreds following a successful playing career at Quinnipiac University, where she was a versatile midfielder and key contributor to one of the most successful stretches in program history. A Second Team All-MAAC selection, she helped lead the Bobcats to a MAAC Tournament championship and NCAA Tournament appearance while earning MAAC All-Academic Team honors and recognition as a Quinnipiac Scholar Athlete.
