PHILLY-SIDA Names Emily Ammon to Academic All-Area Softball Team
PHILADELPHIA, Pa. – The Philadelphia Area Sports Information Directors Association announced their 2026 selections for the Academic All-Area Softball team on Wednesday morning, and Neumann University’s Emily Ammon was among the honorees. Ammon adds to the many accolades she accrued in 2026. Academically, she was also named to the College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-District team. On the field, she hit .344 in 38 games and 33 starts, with six doubles, four triples, and 15 runs batted in. On the base paths is where she truly shined, shattering numerous program records.
