Landon DuPont commits to Michigan for NHL draft season
One of the top prospects for the 2027 NHL Draft is heading to college. Defenceman Landon DuPont has committed to the Michigan Wolverines for the 2026-27 season after two seasons in the WHL, he announced on social media Wednesday. DuPont, 17, is coming off a WHL championship with the Everett Silvertips and an appearance in the Memorial Cup final. The five-foot-11, right-shot blueliner had 18 goals and 73 points in 63 games this season, then added 23 points in the playoffs and six more in the Memorial Cup.
