Hopf, Rigas Named to CACC Baseball All-Academic Team
NEW HAVEN, Conn. -- Caldwell University senior first baseman Chris Hopf (Middlesex, N.J.) and senior right handed pitcher John Rigas (Lincoln Park, N.J.) have been named to the 2026 CACC Baseball All-Academic Team, the league announced today. It is the second time that Rigas has been honored, as he also earned the distinction in 2024. Hopf, a criminal justice major with a 3.76 cumulative GPA, earned All-CACC First Team honors, batting .336 with 13 home runs, placing third in the league, and 38 RBI.
