Fever鈥檚 Caitlin Clark exits vs. Mercury with back injury
The Indiana Fever finished Wednesday's game without their star player. Caitlin Clark was ruled out against the Phoenix Mercury after suffering a back injury, the Fever announced. Clark appeared to tweak her back in the second quarter after being fouled, but remained in the game to begin the third quarter before going to the locker room. Prior to her exit, Clark had 19 points in 20 minutes on 55 per cent shooting. On the season, the third-year point guard is averaging 21.3 points, 4.3 rebounds and 8.2 assists in 31.4 minutes per game.
