NEWARK, Del. – The University of Delaware women's basketball program has signed Ema Rychtecká, completing its 2026-27 roster, head coach Sarah Jenkins announced Tuesday. The 5-9 guard comes to Newark after competing on the national team circuit for Czechia, most recently in U19 competition. A Brno, Czechia native, Rychtecká graduated from the Sports Gymnasium of Ludvik Danek. She was a four-year starter and two-time captain. Throughout her amateur career, Rychtecká was part of teams that finished in fourth place in the U19 extraleague for three of the last four reasons, reaching second place with her squad in 2026.
