By: SU Sports Information SHIPPENSBURG, Pa. – Shippensburg University junior Ty Sherman was named Tuesday to the 2026 Academic All-America® Baseball Team, recognizing the most accomplished student-athletes from throughout the country. Sherman was selected to the NCAA Division II Second Team, becoming just the eighth Raider ever to be named to the Academic All-America® Baseball Team and the first since Jack Goertzen was named to the First Team in 2019.
