Travis Lutz named CSC Academic All-American
BEAUMONT, Texas — Travis Lutz was named to the 2026 Academic All-America Baseball team, the College Sports Communicators announced Tuesday. Lutz, who maintained a 4.0 GPA while pursuing a master's degree in business administration, earned third-team Academic All-America honors. He also was one of five Cardinals to be named to the Southland Conference All-Academic team. Lutz becomes the first LU baseball player to be recognized by the College Sports Communicators since Jordan Foster in 2004.
