MINNEAPOLIS, MINN. – University of Minnesota junior outfielder Charlie Sutherland has been named a CSC Academic All-American first team honoree, as announced by College Sports Communicators today. The 2026 Academic All-American teams recognize the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the field and in the classroom. This marks Sutherland's first career Academic All-American nomination, and the program's first Academic All-American honoree since Micah Coffey in 2018.
