Landry Named ABCA/Rawlings Pitcher of the Year
Hope International senior Josh Landry added to his awards mantle on Tuesday as he was tabbed the American Baseball Coaches Association/Rawlings National Pitcher of the Year. Landry, who previously had earned NAIA National Pitcher of the Year accolades, became the first Royal to receive the prestigious honor from the ABCA/Rawlings organization. The southpaw had a spectacular final season in a Royals uniform, posting an 11-3 record with a 1.70 ERA – the second-lowest in the NAIA this season and No. 1 all-time at HIU.
