Hamada Named PacWest Conference Men’s Soccer Scholar-Athlete
CALIFORNIA – Hawai'i Hilo Men's Soccer's Koki Hamada was named Pacific West Conference Men's Soccer Co-Scholar-Athlete of the Year. Hamada (Tokyo, Japan) recently wrapped up his collegiate career after earning a Bachelor of Business Administration with the conclusion of the spring 2026 semester. The four-year starter on the Vulcans Men's Soccer team posted a 3.72 cumulative grade point average. Last fall, Hawai'i Hilo made program history by making its first NCAA postseason appearance and claiming a victory in the NCAA West Regional First Round with a 3-2 victory over Western Oregon.
