Cook named Regional Coach of the Year
Hobart Head Coach Brad Cook is the 2026 ABCA/ATEC Regional Coach of the Year. The award is voted on by the members of the American Baseball Coaches Association. In just the program’s fourth year of varsity play after a 27-year hiatus, Cook guided the Statesmen to the most successful season in program history. Hobart was 32-15 this season, breaking the program record for wins in a season. The Statesmen went 11-5 in Liberty League play, finishing second in the Liberty League West.
