DENTON – The UNT women’s golf team signed 2026 WGCA DII All-American transfer Lucy Smith on Monday. Smith joins the Mean Green after spending last season at UT Tyler where she was the Lone Star Conference’s Freshman of the Year, voted All-LSC First Team and WGCA All-Freshman Team. She finished her freshman campaign ranked No. 70 nationally and finished with a 74.7 adjusted scoring average over 32 rounds and 12 tournaments to earn an Honorable Mention DII All-American status. The Prosper, Texas, native won the Southern Invite and Emerald Coast Classic last year while also posting four top 10 finishes.…
