Blountstown football reached the state championship game with several key contributors making plays across the field. Two Class of 2027 standouts made their college commitments in June. Curtis Ellis, a wide receiver and all-around athlete, announced his commitment to the University of Connecticut over the weekend. Ellis chose the Huskies over Georgia Tech, Mississippi State, Pittsburgh and UCF, among others. Ellis has 892 career rushing yards and 14 touchdowns, along with 41 receptions and 11 receiving touchdowns at Blountstown.
