Voyles Wins High Jump at USATF U20 Championships
By: Hunter McKay EUGENE, Ore. — Gage Voyles became the first U.S. U20 track and field champion in program history Friday night at Hayward Field. Voyles won the high jump with a clearance of 2.24 meters (7-4.25) and met the World Athletics U20 qualifying standard during the competition. With the victory, he earned a spot on Team USA for the World Athletics U20 Championships, where he will compete Aug. 6 at 2:05 p.m. ET.
