Army West Point women's soccer has appointed Emily Abshire Chiu as the new Director of Soccer Operations. Chiu brings over ten years of experience in coaching and administration at multiple levels, including collegiate, high school, and youth soccer. She has a strong background in logistics and athlete development, having worked extensively in various operational roles within soccer programs. Her teaching experience in physical education also enhances her understanding of athlete needs and development. Chiu's military community involvement further aligns her with the values of the United States Military Academy.

• Over 10 years of experience in coaching and sports administration.
• Served as the head coach of Kenwood High School, awarded TSSAA District 12-AA Coach of the Year for the 2018–19 season.

• Chiu will manage logistical and administrative duties for the soccer program, including team travel and scheduling.
• Her prior roles in education and coaching will support athletic development for cadet-athletes.
