Swimmer Aaron Thomas Medals at U.S. Paralympics Swimming National Championships
Hope College junior Aaron Thomas excelled during this month's U.S. Paralympics Swimming National Championships in Boise, Idaho, earning a bronze medal in one event and qualifying for the A-finals in two more. The biomedical and biomechanical major from DeWitt, Mich. claimed bronze — and his third career medal at the U.S. Paralympics Swimming National Championships — in the 100-yard breaststroke. All three medalists were from the SB9 classification. Thomas, a two-year letterwinner with the Flying Dutchmen, also reached the finals in the 100 butterfly and 200 individual medley.
