SWEET BRIAR, Va. – After thoughtful consideration, Sweet Briar College has made the difficult decision to discontinue its golf program. This decision follows a comprehensive review of the athletic offerings, including roster sustainability, participation trends, and historical significance. To maintain a strong and vibrant athletics program, the department must ensure that each sport can consistently support roster sizes.
