Southern Connecticut State University softball standouts Sophia Angiolini and Izzy Ingersoll were named to the 2026 Northeast 10 Conference Softball Academic All-Conference team, as announced by the NE10 on Thursday, June 18, 2026. Sophia Angiolini had a phenomenal season for the Owls, while playing multiple positions, which earned her the utility player spot on the Northeast 10 Conference first team. A psychology major, Angiolini also carries a 3.97 GPA. In her sophomore campaign, Angiolini ended the season with 46 hits, nine doubles, a home run and 28 RBI.
