Nnamdi Named USTFCCCA South Central Region Men鈥檚 Field Athlete of the Year
NEW ORLEANS 鈥� Texas A&M track & field's Zaza Nnamdi was named the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association South Central Region Men's Field Athlete of the Year, the organization announced Thursday. Nnamdi set the standard nationally in the javelin this season, sweeping the postseason titles. He became the Aggies' third NCAA champion in the event after recording a toss of 82.26m/269-10 on his opening attempt which held throughout.
