Five Cardinal Baseball Players Named to SLC All-Academic Baseball Team
FRISCO, Texas -- The University of the Incarnate Word baseball team had five selections to the Southland Conference All-Academic Team, the league announced Thursday afternoon. Cardinals selected were graduate students Drake Anderson and Christian Enriquez, seniors Cole Tabor and Colin Cymbalista and redshirt junior Preston Newberry. To be eligible, nominees must have a GPA of at least 3.25 for the semester prior to the sport's championship, completed at least one full semester prior to the season and played in at least 50 percent of their team's games.
