Baseball: Lopez Named ABCA South Central All-Defensive Team
GREENSBORO, N.C. 鈥� St. Mary's University junior catcher Dillon Lopez was named to the 2026 ABCA NCAA Division II Region All-Defensive team, in a vote by members of the American Baseball Coaches Association (ABCA). Lopez, from San Antonio, caught 24 runners attempting to steal this season and helped turn three double plays, leading the Lone Star Conference in runners thrown out. He becomes the third Rattler to earn South Central All-Defensive honors, joining Tyler Migl in 2012 and Ryan McGowen in 2023.
