Arnett Makes Professional Debut With Florida Vibe
KANSAS CITY, Kan - Heather Arnett made history once again, this time becoming the first softball student-athlete in Pittsburg State University history to turn professional. The Pittsburg, Kan., native on Wednesday (June 17) was called up by the Professional Softball League (PSL) Florida Vibe and appeared in the game against the Kansas City Diamonds at Legends Field. Arnett pinch ran in the first and sixth innings to become the first former Division II player to play in league history.
