SALL NAMED TO ABCA/RAWLINGS NAIA GOLD GLOVE TEAM
Briar Cliff senior first baseman Nico Sall has been named an ABCA/Rawlings NAIA Gold Glove Award recipient, the organization announced Wednesday afternoon. A native of Omaha, Nebraska, Sall appeared in 44 games and made 41 starts at first base for the Chargers during the 2026 season. He was flawless defensively, recording a perfect 1.000 fielding percentage with 339 putouts and 19 assists. Sall also contributed significantly at the plate, batting .361 with 57 hits, 10 doubles, 17 home runs, and 50 RBIs.
