Pruim, Rippeon Selected as MEC Scholar Athlete of the Year Finalists
BRIDGEPORT, W. Va. - The finalists for the 2025-26 Mountain East Conference Scholar-Athlete of the Year are set, the Mountain East Conference announced Wednesday. Graduate Doug Pruim II will be Frostburg State's Male nominee, having garnered several All-American accolades while leading the Football team to a spot in the Super Region I Championship game. Pruim was selected as a College Sports Communicators First Team Academic All-American, while also being named to the Associated Press and Don Hansen Football All-American Teams.
