Perez Named National Player of the Year
TEMPE, Ariz. 鈥� Texas A&M's Lucciana Perez claimed recognition as the Intercollegiate Tennis Association Division I Women's Player of the Year, the organization announced Wednesday. Perez also earned ITA Player to Watch distinction in Tuesday's postseason awards release. She joins Mary Stoiana as the only Aggies to receive ITA National Player of the Year accolades. The trophy case has filled up for Perez this spring. Last week she became the second Aggie player to earn the Honda Sports Award for Tennis.
