Ozaukee baseball team got going late in season

Photo by Mitch Maersch The Ozaukee High School baseball team came out ahead in nearly every stat in its regional playoff game last month. Just not the one that moves teams to the next round: the scoreboard. The No. 9-seeded Warriors had more hits, extra base hits and fewer errors and strikeouts. But the No 8-seeded Tri-County Penguins managed to pull out a 5-3 victory on May 28. 鈥淎ll the stats were pretty much in our favor,鈥 coach Steve Kowalkowski said.
