Heat men鈥檚 volleyball hosts successful Okanagan School Grass Volleyball Championship
KELOWNA, B.C. – The UBCO Heat men’s volleyball team successfully hosted the second annual Okanagan School Grass Volleyball Championship on Friday, June 12 at City Park in Kelowna. The event featured almost 300 athletes, from Grade 7 up to Grade 12, across 68 teams, representing 28 schools. In total, over 200 matches of volleyball happened over the course of the day over 18 courts. Teams from Kelowna SS won three of the events, including Girls Grade 9/10, Boys Grade 11/12 and Girls Grade 11/12.
