Broadbent, Powell Named to CSC Academic All-District Team
BOONE, N.C. 鈥� App State Tennis student-athletes Ruby Broadbent and Taya Powell were named to the College Sports Communicators Academic All-District team, the association announced. To qualify for the award, a student-athlete must be at least a sophomore, maintain a cumulative GPA of 3.5 or higher and be in the lineup for at least 75% of team-scored matches. Broadbent finished her sophomore season earning second-team honors in doubles alongside Savannah Dada-Mascoll, holding a 5-3 record from the No. 1 spot.
