JOPLIN, Mo. — Missouri Southern golf student-athlete Owen Derryberry was named to the College Sports Communicators Academic All-District Team, the organization announced Tuesday. Derryberry was featured on the 2025-26 CSC Academic All-District Men's At-Large Team. The award recognizes the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances in competition and in the classroom. Derryberry, a sophomore from Carthage, Missouri, has a 3.95 GPA as a Finance major at MSSU. Over the 2025-26 season, Derryberry competed in five events, averaging a score of 76.1 over 15 rounds.
