Nine Knights Named to CSC Academic All-District At-Large Team
The Wartburg College golf, wrestling and women’s bowling programs combined for nine selections to the 2026 College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-District庐 At-Large Team, the organization announced Tuesday. Representing the Knights were Lucas Bartacheck and Sam Jermier from men’s golf, Brett Birchman from men’s wrestling, Lauren Funk and Madison Shontz from women’s bowling, Madelyn Bender and Brenna Bodensteiner from women’s golf, and Rewa Chababo and Kylie Rule from women’s wrestling. Bartacheck earned CSC Academic All-District庐 honors for the first time of his career, while Jermier collected his third recognition with the men’s golf program.
