MHSBCA names baseball All-State teams, Kipling and Slimko get nod for 45th Annual East-West All-Star Baseball Classic
LocalSportsJournal.com The greater Muskegon area was well represented on the Michigan High School Baseball Coaches Association鈥檚 All-State teams. The senior battery from Spring Lake led the way on the Division 2 All-State squad. Pitcher Maddux Kipling and catcher Owen Smies, along with teammate and twin brother Oliver Smies, were given top honors. Kipling, is committed to playing at Michigan State University in the fall while the Smies brothers are set for Calvin University.
