INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. — Recent University of Mount Olive graduate Niklas Gruenefeldt '26, a former member of the UMO men's tennis team, has been selected as a recipient of the NCAA Postgraduate Scholarship, an award presented to student-athletes who achieve excellence in academics and athletics while demonstrating leadership and commitment throughout their collegiate careers. Gruenefeldt was one of 42 winter sport student-athletes across all NCAA divisions selected to receive the prestigious award, which provides a one-time $10,000 scholarship to support graduate study.
