Vaasa, FINLAND – Former Santa Clara men's tennis player Guillaume Dalmasso won his first professional tournament, capturing the singles title at the 2026 Wasa Open in Vaasa, Finland this past weekend defeating Joaquin Guilleme of Nicaragua in straight sets, 6-2, 6-4. Dalmasso, who played at Santa Clara from 2020-21 to 2023-24, was the third seeded player in the M15 Level tournament comprised of large number of international players including the top seed Filip Peliwo from Poland (ATP ranking of No. 489) and Petros Tsitsipas from Greece whose brother Stéfanos was ranked as high as No. 3 in the world.
