Oji Earns First Team All-America Honors
EUGENE, Ore. - Penn freshman Jessica Oji wrapped up her freshman season in the red and blue with her second career first team All-America honor at the NCAA Outdoor Track and Field Championships on Friday. Oji, who finished seventh in shot put at the indoor championships, recorded a mark of 17.92m (58' 9.5") in the third round. She improved her mark to 17.98m (59' 0") on her fifth attempt to secure first team All-America honors outdoors.
