Colin’s Lodge Beats the Badges
BELLBROOK, Ohio — In February, members of the Bellbrook Fire and Police departments, in partnership with Sugarcreek Township Public Safety, were invited to take on the members of Colin’s Lodge in a rematch basketball game, held at Bellbrook Middle School. What an incredible night it was!

Colin’s Lodge provides a safe and welcoming space for adults with cognitive differences, offering programs that promote independence, social connection, health, and personal growth within a supportive community.

Though we didn’t come away with the win this year, we’re already looking forward to a rematch next year. It was a fantastic evening and an incredible show of support from our community.
We’re especially grateful to Bellbrook-Sugarcreek Schools for allowing us court time to host this event and bring everyone together. We also thank Colin’s Lodge for the opportunity to share the court once again. It was a great game, and fun was had by all! The Flying Eagles brought the energy and kept us on our toes all night.

A special thank you goes to the Bellbrook High School girls’ lacrosse team, for providing an outstanding student cheer section and keeping the crowd fired up.
We’re proud to serve alongside our public safety partners and to be part of a community that shows up for one another, both on and off the court.
