FRISCO, Texas – Cal State San Marcos' Assistant Women's Golf Coach Brook Brand has been named the recipient of the 2025-26 Division II Golf Pride WGCA Assistant Coach of the Year. Handed out by the Women's Golf Coaches Association, the award recognizes a coach whose leadership, preparation, and commitment elevate their program's performance and positively impact the student-athlete experience. In her three seasons at CSUSM, Brand has helped the Cougars to a 407-54-4 win-loss record in head-to-head scoring. CSUSM has tallied 18 team wins and 14 individual medalist honors since 2023-24.
