Notre Dame AD Pete Bevacqua appointed to NCAA men鈥檚 basketball selection committee
SOUTH BEND, Ind. (WNDU) - Notre Dame Athletic Director Pete Bevacqua has been appointed to the NCAA Division I Men鈥檚 Basketball Selection Committee. The committee picks, seeds and brackets March Madness. Bevacqua will serve a four-year term starting July 1. Bevacqua already sits on the College Football Playoff management committee, making him the only sitting athletics director to serve on both at the same time. Bevacqua is the second Notre Dame athletic director to serve on an NCAA men鈥檚 basketball committee, joining Gene Corrigan, who served from 1981-87.
