Namken Named Perfect Game Freshman All-American
SAN MARCOS, Texas — Texas State catcher Clayton Namken has been named a Perfect Game Freshman All-American following an outstanding debut season for the Bobcats in 2026. One of the top freshman catchers in the nation, Namken emerged as a key contributor on both sides of the ball while helping Texas State post a 37-26 record and an NCAA Regional appearance. Namken appeared in 51 games with 47 starts during his freshman campaign, batting .310 with 54 hits, 10 doubles, two triples and 11 home runs.
