History-making forward, elite scorer Hayden Wheddon joins the Herd
The Bisons men’s hockey team got an instant boost to their scoring depth today, announcing the commitment of Stonewall, MB native Hayden Wheddon. The product of the Niverville Nighthawks was unstoppable during the 2025-26 season, helping the expansion MJHL squad make history in capturing the Turnbull and Centennial Cups in just their fourth year of existence. Wheddon was the engine that helped power the best team in the MJHL. The Nighthawks won 51 of 58 regular season games, paced by Wheddon’s 90 points in 57 regular season games.
